In the middle of two thousand and twelve, a couple of young Norwegians with backgrounds deriving from skateboarding, art and music got together to establish something new and unusual; a softgoods company dedicated to provide the customer with product based on a premium-quality-only mindset... from Norway.
With the lack of brands (illustrating our wants and needs) originating from the little northern country specializing in trolls, salmon, cross-country skiing and epic fjords, we decided to go for it.
It needed to be new, different and exhibit the inner vision of what we ourselves wanted to see on the shelves. Wanting to bring the interest and insight of our niche to the table and provide what we felt was missing quickly drew our minds towards the classic five-panel cap.
Witnessing the reincarnating demand, especially in the skateboarding community, promptly triggered an underlying desire to enter the skate/streetwear market. The journey from dusty, raggety-ass sketches and dead ideas off an old hard drive returning as physical copies of our visions in our hands began. From the rubble, a duo of Knives and Feathers rose and came together to be what today is known as Rubble Company. With a handpicked team of some of Norway´s finest skaters we hope to represent and contribute in best ability to skateboarding.
In the pursuit of creating products with their own feels and stories, Rubble Company continues to develop designs and quality products defying the original approach, bringing deviant ideas to the table.
